Community Transportation Programs from a Regional Perspective

Referrals

A component of the CTSA responsibilities requires the periodic inventory of the specialized transportation providers and programs within San Diego County.  This inventory is then used to generate a referral list of specialized transportation programs, their eligibility criteria and area(s) served.  This list of referrals is then made available to individuals, caregivers and agencies in hard-copy and since 2001 is continuously maintained on the STRIDE, San Diego web site.

Information & Technical Assistance

If you needed questions answered about:

• California Highway Patrol regulations
• California Driver's Licenses (CDL's)
• Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA)
• Specialized Transportation "Best Practices"
• Federal Capital Grant Assistance (FTA Section 5310)

Please contact the CTSA and our office will either have the answers to your questions directly or will find the necessary information in order to appropriately answer your questions.

Public Outreach
The CTSA is available for Public Outreach. In other words, if your agency has transportation and wants to coordinate this with other agencies or if your agency simply wants information regarding transportation options available, the CTSA is available for Presentations and/or Site Visitations.  The CTSA could be the vehicle you need to maximize your service potential.  If your agency could benefit from assistance with transportation services, please contact the CTSA office.
