Community Transportation Programs from a Regional Perspective

Meetings and Workshops

The CTSA holds bi-monthly Council on Access & Mobility (CAM) meetings. The CAM is composed of representatives of specialized transportation providers throughout the region. The collective knowledge of these organizations is a valuable resource to draw from in planning for improved services. Click here to go to the FACT website for CAM information.

Quarterly workshops, are FREE and vary in topic but attempt to provide information such as:

  • California Highway Patrol (CHP)
  • Vehicle Safety and Maintenance
  • Driver selection and Training
  • Options available in specialized transportation
  • Wheelchair Safety/Securing
  • Federal Capital Grant Assistance: Annual 5310 Grant Writing workshop designed to assist agencies in obtaining vehicles and equipment necessary to operations of their transportation program.

Quarterly Maintenance Roundtables,are FREE and provide valuable information for administrative and operations staff on a variety of maintenance related topics.
